Summit 2025 FAQs

General Conference Information

1. What are the Summit dates and location?

The official summit dates are Tuesday, August 26th, 2025 & Wednesday, August 27th, 2025 at the Swissotel Chicago – 323 E Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60601.

2. What is included in registration?

Summit 2025 Registration is “all-inclusive”, which means it includes 2 hotel nights at the Swissotel Chicago, exclusive conference swag, access to all workshops, general and breakout sessions, conference materials, giveaways, the Expo Hall, all Summit meal functions, and the conference wrap party. Links to the conference recordings will be sent to attendees following the conclusion of the event.

3. How many meals are included with registration?

All meals during the Summit are included in registration. This includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

4. What is the full schedule of events?

We are still finalizing our full Summit lineup; however, you can see a high-level agenda posted on our registration page that outlines all major activities for August 26th, and 27th. A full comprehensive agenda will be sent to all registrants soon.

5. Are there registration restrictions?

Registration for Summit 2025 is limited to qualified supply chain professionals. Representatives of companies with products or services that compete with FourKites’ products and services are prohibited from attending. All registrations are subject to approval and FourKites, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to deny or cancel any registration for any reason. Canceled registrations will have their event registration fee refunded. No refunds will be made for travel, or any other direct or indirect expenses.

6. How do I modify my registration?

7. What is the cost to attend the two-day conference?

We have two pricing options available for attending the Summit.

Early Bird Pricing – Register on or before June 6th. Total Cost: $600 (BEST VALUE)

8. How do I get an invoice?

9. How do I request accessibility services?

Contact our conference help desk directly with any questions or needs at [email protected]. Please note that FourKites will do everything in its power to accommodate all accessibility-related requests, but cannot guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled.

10. What is the registration cancellation policy?

After you register, if you are no longer able to attend in-person in Chicago, a full refund of your pre-paid registration fee will be available if you cancel by Friday, July 25, 2025, 11:59 PM CT. After this date, you are not able to cancel and no refunds will be honored. Your cancellation must be received by the stated cancellation deadline and will be accepted in writing only to: [email protected]

11. Cancellation Terms:

After you register, if you are no longer able to attend in person in Chicago, a full refund of your pre-paid registration fee will be available if you cancel by Friday, July 25, 2025, 11:59 PM CT. You are not able to cancel and no refunds will be honored after this date. Your cancellation must be received by the stated cancellation deadline and will be accepted in writing only to: [email protected].

  • No-shows for the conference will not receive a refund.
  • This cancellation policy applies to registration fees and/or hotel reservations you have purchased through the Summit 2025 registration process. Not including any hotels or accommodations booked outside of FourKites.
  • This cancellation policy is not applicable to sponsorship & exhibitor agreements. Please see your sponsorship and exhibitor agreement for the Summit 2025’s cancellation policy for sponsors and exhibitors.
  • Please remember that canceling your registration will automatically cancel your hotel and vice versa, but will not cancel any other travel arrangements you may have made. You are responsible for canceling your own airline, car rental, or other pre-planned travel reservations.

Health & Safety

1. What are your safety protocols?

FourKites’ #1 priority is the health and safety of our attendees, employees, and staff supporting Summit 2025. In partnership with the Swissotel Chicago, FourKites will adhere to all official government and local authority guidance, as well as any venue or location-specific regulations. We will continue to monitor the evolving situation and guidelines.

2. What if I have dietary restrictions?

There is an opportunity to indicate special dietary restrictions during the registration process. Please note that FourKites will do everything in its power to accommodate restrictions and allergies, but cannot guarantee that all requests will be honored.

Agenda and Programming

1. What is the Innovation Workshop?

The Innovation Workshop is held first thing in the morning, on August 26th. This is considered a pre-conference event. Meet with a cohort of FourKites product designers, product managers, engineers, and other FourKites customers in a design workshop. We’ll split customers into three different groups, each tackling a different challenge in supply chain management. The product team will lead participants through discovery and design exercises and together the group will create late-stage designs in less than one day. Please note that space is limited, and will require a confirmation email to attend.

2. What is the FourKites AI Academy, and why should I join?

FourKites AI Academy is an interactive training session on AI in supply chain. Whether you are brand new to FourKites or just looking to increase your knowledge there is something for everyone. After completion you will be an expert of the FourKites platform, including how to navigate, mastering the tools to extend the value and how to become a champion of AI within your organization. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights and take your career to the next level! Participants will receive a digital badge within their FourKites Community Profile.

3. What is the Golden Kite Awards, and how do I apply?

The Golden Kites Awards recognize customers who have achieved exceptional success in enhancing their visibility and end-to-end supply chain initiatives using the FourKites Platform. To be considered for the award, customers must showcase how their teams have excelled in one or more of the five categories, namely Improved Customer Experience, End-to-End Optimization, Connected Supply Chain, Strategic Potential Unleashed, & AI-Powered Excellence. Attendee Information

1. I can’t locate my registration confirmation email.

There may be a slight delay in registration confirmation emails, as we review all individuals who register. If you have not received a confirmation within 5 business days, please email [email protected] and our help desk team can help you verify your registration status.

2. Will I have an opportunity to meet with a FourKites expert?

Yes! FourKites Experts will be available in the AI Innovation Showcase the evening of August 26th for the Networking Happy Hour as well as all day August 27th during conference hours. More information regarding 1:1 appointment scheduling will be available closer to the event via email to all registered attendees.

3. Will conference recordings and/or presentations be available?

All conference content will be made available to attendees following the conclusion of the event. We will send out detailed information on how to access this content in our post-conference emails.

4. Are guests allowed to attend?

No, we are only allowing confirmed registered attendees to join us for all conference activities, including but not limited to our networking happy hours and evening events.

5. What is the weather like in Chicago in late August?

The average temperature in Chicago in late August for a typical day ranges from a high of 74°F (23°C) to a low of 60°F (16°C). Some would describe it as mildly cool with a gentle breeze. The complete conference agenda takes place indoors, which tends to be cool. Make sure to pack accordingly.

6. I’m no longer attending Summit 2025. What should I do?

  • Please reference our cancellation policy.
  • If you are no longer attending Summit 2025 but someone will be coming in your place, please let us know by emailing [email protected].
  • If you are no longer attending Summit 2025 and no one is coming in your place, please cancel your event registration by emailing [email protected].

7. What should I wear?

We recommend business casual attire for the entire conference. Dress pants or jeans, dresses, blouses, and sportcoats (tie or no tie – up to you!), are welcome. Conference ballrooms tend to be chilly so please consider bringing a blazer or a sweater.

Hotel and Travel

1. When should I arrive and depart?

It is recommended that attendees that are participating in our Innovation Workshop, or FourKites AI Academy programs arrive Monday, August 25th. For attendees not participating in our pre-conference events, we recommend arriving on Tuesday, August 26th, and staying for the entirety of the conference on August 27th (starting at 8 am, and ending at 10 pm), and then checking out and departing on August 28th for the best possible experience.

2. How do I book my room?

  • Once your registration is approved, you will receive a link to complete your registration and book your room directly through the FourKites registration portal. Please note, booking a hotel within our registration portal is the only way to receive our heavily discounted rate at the Swissotel Chicago.
  • The hotel Room cut-off date is Friday, July 25, 2025, 11:59 PM CT. for all attendees. FourKites cannot guarantee any rooms past this date. All rooms within the room block are first come, first serve, and subject to availability.

3. What is the per-night cost breakdown for the Swissotel Chicago?

We have secured a reduced room rate of $240 per night (+ taxes & fees), for attendees booking within our block. You can reserve your room through our registration portal. You will receive a confirmation from the hotel confirming your booking. If you have not received this email, you can reach out to  [email protected] and our help desk team will be happy to assist.

4. What if I do not need hotel accommodations?

That is completely up to you. The price of the conference does include a 2-night stay at the host hotel, Swissotel Chicago. If you choose to opt-out of staying at the host hotel, that does not change the price of the Summit. You can indicate that preference to stay offsite during the registration check out process in the “hotels” section.

5. What if I need parking at the Swissotel Chicago?

Parking is not included in your hotel reservation. The Swissôtel Chicago offers both valet and self-parking options. Valet parking is available for $84 per day. Self-parking is also available at $65 per day. Parking will be billed at your own cost, and is not included in your conference registration. You can also explore alternative parking options through websites like ParkWhiz or SpotHero, which may offer discounted rates at lots nearby.

6. How far is the conference hotel from the airport?

  • From O’Hare
    • By Train: The Blue Line L Train Service runs from O’Hare to Chicago. The train ride is approximately 1 hour to the Washington Blue Line stop which is 0.5 miles (10-minute walk) from the Swissotel Chicago.
    • By Car or Ride Share Service: it is 15 miles, which is approximately a 45-minute to hour-long drive, due to current construction, and dependent upon traffic.
  • From Midway
    • By Train: The Orange Line L Train Service runs from Midway Airport to Chicago. The train ride is approximately 1 hour to the State/Lake Orange Line stop which is 0.5 miles (10-minute walk) from the Swissotel Chicago.
    • By Car or Ride Share Service: it is 13 miles, which is approximately an hour-long drive, due to current construction, and dependent upon traffic.

7. Where is the hotel located in Chicago?

The Swissotel Chicago overlooks the Chicago River and Lake Michigan and is within minutes of the Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, Millennium Park & Maggie Daley Park. The address is 323 W Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60601.
